FKA twigs - Two Weeks

The music video for Two Weeks released on June 24, 2014, the video was directed by Nabil Elderkin. The video features FKA twigs portraying a giant goddess surrounded by miniature dancers, also played by twigs. The entire video consists of one long panning out shot. The video's character (The Giant Goddess) has been compared to Aaliyah's character Akasha in the 2002 film Queen of the Damned.

The song's music video was directed by Nabil Elderkin, who's also handled clips for Nicki Minaj and Arctic Monkeys. Twigs plays a sort of empress/goddess/banshee dancer sat a throne inside an ancient temple. "Weird things can be sexy," she explained. "Vulnerability is the strongest state to be in. How boring would it be if we were constantly dominant or constantly submissive?"

"In the video, it's this vision of me feeding myself, milking myself," Twigs added. "I was naked, painted in gold, doing krump dance moves. It's bizarre, but hot in a very weird way."
